First Time in Ireland...Intinerary advice please
Hi
Me and my hubby to be are looking to go to Ireland for our honeymoon.
We have a basic itinerary which we planned ourselves, just need help in filling it out.
Advice on which places are best to visit and things to do.
We have a week
Day 1 02/09 and Day 2 03/09
Fly to cork and hire car
Go to Parkinsilla Resort and Spa x 2 nights (1 hr 48 mins)
Take part in Kerry experience Tours or Go Sneem Day Tours
Visit O Carrolls Cove
Travel to Kenmare (24 mins) via ring of Kerry
Day 3 04/09 and Day 4 05/09
Staying at Casey’s of Baltimore x 2 nights (1hr 52 mins)
Want to experience Wild Atlantic way trial maybe do a Dolphins and Whales Boat Trip or Fast net Rock
Day 5 06/09
Staying at Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa (49 mins)
Looking at travelling to Clonakilty (8 mins) or Kinsale (47 mins)
Day 6 07/09 and Day 7 08/09
Staying at The River Lee Hotel (37 mins)
Planning to visit Blarney Castle on our last day
Any advice would be great

Congratulations! Just time for a very quick comment: Apparently you got your drive times from some on-line calculator. Which ever one you used is VERY optimistic. You need to add between 25% and maybe 50+% to each one.

If you plan to rush from place to place on highways, those times might be right - altho' I'm not familiar with some of your destinations.
In Ireland you should take the scenic country roads, which take much longer, altho' they are very enjoyable to drive on.
I know that from experience. I greatly underestimated driving times and had to omit a destination from my itinerary.

Inchydoney, love that area and Baltimore. We visited there 20 years ago. I want to go back. I did a lot of Michael Collins history stops around there. Agree with Tony. Very doable. Hope you have sunny days for that beautiful coastline.
