Final night in Portugal-hotel close to LIS

We will sadly end our 10-day vacation in Portugal Saturday Oct. 29, turning in our rental car at Avis in Albufeira and taking the train back to Lisbon. We will fly out of LIS to the US on Delta at 10 am Sunday Oct 30. For this last night (Saturday) we are seeking a hotel in which we can basically get off the train, find our hotel, crash out and get a taxi early the next morning to the airport. A place that is functional and safe, convenient, dependable to reach the airport by shuttle or taxi early Sunday morning...any ideas welcome. Thanks very much.

Will you be coming in by train to Oriente station?
If it's Oriente, look at the Tivoli Oriente or the Olissippo Oriente, both close to the Calatrava-designed station and the metro stop that will take you to LIS quickly and directly. The Tivoli is just 500 meters from the rail station. The Portuguese Tivolo hotels are, ime, of good quality.

The Tivoli is a great suggestion, the hotel is a bit dated but the location to get to the airport cannot be beat.

if you are not too tired, and like Thai food, there is a great Thai restaurant close by that hotel (called Eat Thai.)

Thanks to all, I have reserved a room with a “river view” at the Tivoli, and plan to check out the Thai food. It is our last night, but why not go for it? Very much looking forward to our upcoming visit.
