Ferme St. Simeon

Has anyone stayed that this hotel recently? If so,is it better to be located in the original building or in the newer building where the spa facilities are located? How far is the hotel from the town of Honfleur, and how is the restaurant? Thank you for any information...

The Ferme St. Simeon is a hike from the St. Catherine quarter of Honfleur -- the historic center. You would want a car, I think. Have not stayed there. The 2004 Gault Millau mentions the food favorably, says it has improved of late.

We stayed there two years ago. Our room was in the new section and was lovely. We did not eat there as the restaurant was closed the one night we stayed.
We walked into the town of Honfleur...I can't remember how long a walk it is, but trust me I am not a hiker and I remember it was an easy walk!

I would prefer the Manoir du Butin, which is right across the road. Both are on the outskirts of town.

I would prefer Le Cour St. Catherine: giaglis.com

Or if you insist on spending more, La Maison de Lucie: http://www.lamaisondelucie.com/

Both are in the historic district, but away from the crowds.

For food: L'Absinthe or La Terrasee et ''Assiette, or Le P'tit Mareyeur.

Sorry, that should be: La Terrasse et l'Assiette.
