Ferme auberge?

Ferme auberge?

We are planning a trip to the Alsace & Burgundy regions. I would love to experience lunch at a ferme auberge....... any ideas? Also, does anyone know of anyplace that demonstrates or provides a tour of the cheese making process?

I've stayed at farms that make cheese, one in the Loire, the other in Provence but they were no tours but saw the goats being fed.

You might like the Jura area (half way between) where Franche Comte comes from. There is a nice place at Hopiteaux Vieux which is a bit far from the motorway. If interested I can dig out the name
