Ok, I've learned my lesson, no more "best" of anything on this board! That being said, what is your favorite touristy place to go? Must be something about them that brings in all those people.<BR><BR>I enjoy Triberg in the Black Forest and am looking forward to visiting Venice in the spring (pretty much all of that qualifies I think, but it is spectacular!)

Favourite tourist trap would have to be VENICE!

How funny! Upon seeing the title of this post, I decided to post with the answer of Venice - and with only the original post and one response it's already a very popular answer! My rationale was that I loved Venice, but that it has nearly been overrun with tourists. Even Venetians bemoan the fact that many traditional shops have been run out in favor of shops designed for the tourist market only.
