Favorite Lucca Hotel

I am looking for recommendations for a hotel in Lucca. I will be staying 1-2 nights. Price point approx. $200-300 per night. Thanks.

While we haven't stayed there as yet, we have reservations in May for the Palazzo Alexander which looks lovely. Look them up at www.palazzo-alexander.com. We are looking forward to our stay. If anyone has any comments about the place, I am sure that we will hear from them. Have a great trip!

It's me again. WOW! I just tried clicking on the website myself to see if it were going to work through the thread and discovered that the hotel has a new website. I'm impressed, and I enjoyed the music. What do you think?

Would you be interested in a B&B? I often stay in B&Bs when I travel solo and that is how I ended up in La Romea. http://www.laromea.com/

I just did a Tripadvisor check and it is #1 in Lucca for B&Bs/Inns.

I stayed in the blue room (suite) with a large bathroom. I liked it a lot.

Breakfasts were great and "Mama" mothered everyone. I highly recommend La Romea.

We have stayed at Palazzo Alexander and really loved it. It was about a year ago. We would definitely stay there again. You will enjoy Lucca.

Visited Lucca last April on a day trip from Florence and viewed rooms at the Palazzo Alexander for future reference. Lovely spot and staff!

We stayed at Palazzo Alexander three years ago and loved it. They also have parking available if you have a car. It is in a great location and very comfortable, a lovely small boutique hotel.
