I am seeking info about trains from Rome to either Naples or Sorrento to get a ferry/hydrofoil to Capri...is Naples easier than Sorrento? Are the train connections in Naples for Sorrento frequent?

Anne,<BR>no problem.<BR>Trains from Rome to Naples are frequent.<BR>Time distance is little less than two hours.<BR>The fastest solution is a train which stops in the train station of Napoli Mergellina, so that, after five minutes you are already at the harbour of Mergellina to get hydrofoil for Capri. Time distance is forty minutes. <BR>The first in the morning is at 7.10, the last in the afternoon is at 18.10. <BR>During the day there are other nine hydrofoils, about one every hour.<BR>I can send you timetable if you want.<BR>Have a nice trip.
