Family friendly hotel in Paris

Still searching for a hotel in Paris that can accomodate us with (very mature) 10 and 12 year olds. We need a quad/suite/or guaranteed connecting rooms, up to $300 per night. Location should also be family friendly and not too far from a metro. Any ideas?

A friend of mine went to Paris w/3 daughters and stayed at Hotel La Motte Piquet; she really liked both it and the area. Also liked Cafe le Bosquet, 46, avenue Bosquet for the food and friendly (kid-friendly) owners. I have brought a couple threads to the top for you: one on La Motte Piquet and one on kid-friendly hotels. Good luck!

Also just saw this recent posting: Author: wjh ([email protected])
Date: 1/07/2001, 1:45 pm ET
Message: We recently traveled to France with our 6 and 11 year old daughters. In Paris, we stayed at the Hotel Palais Bourbon in the 7th. The hotel was perfect for our family. Our room had a small ajoining room so the girls had some privacy and Raphael at the front desk could not have been more pleasant and helpful.

We were there with 12 & 15 YO grandchildren last April & stayed @ the Home Plazza Bastille @ $169 per nite w/buffet breakfast. It's 1 block from the St. Sebastien Froissart metro stop on the #8 line. It is a very nice, clean 3star hotel in a residential area. We had a family suite reserved but they had a problem & gave us 2 adjoining rooms w/stove/ref. etc for the same price. They have a web site & a sister hotel nearby.

Hi... I can tell you about the hotel I stayed in, in Paris. It's called the Hotel St. James. It's right across the street from the Louvre on Rue Di Rivoli. It is a family friendly hotel, and actually it's a 4 star hotel that is reasonable. The Toulries (sp) Metro station is across the street. Very beautiful area of Paris. Good Luck!
Our travel agent has us booked at the Citadine Apart-Hotel. It's a one bedroom apartment right across from Notre Dame in the St. Germain Des Pres, right off the Sein. We haven't been there yet, but the pictures look very nice and the location is perfect. Just under $200 per night for a family of four, breakfast included. We'll be there in March, I'll try and update when we get back.
