Today, a senior Chinese government official suggested that China spread its trillion dollars in foreign reserves beyond the dollar to stronger currencies. Just that mere suggestion today sent the dollar tumbling, and partially caused the big drop in the overall markets. I just don't see the volatility ending anytime soon.
