Has anyone every stayed at the Excelsior Palace in taormina?? Any comments about it?

Hi Mike<BR>I don't know Excelsior Palace but definitely the best Hotel is Capo di Taormina. You can'nt go Taormina without staying at it, if you go during summertime.

I toured the lobby area of the Excelsior Palace but did not stay there. It is a top hotel with a renovated swimming pool. Some rooms have unobstructed views of Etna. It is located on the edge of town (furtherest from the bus station). Prices are average for a four-star property in Taormina.
