Checking if anyone has stayed in either the farmhouse, Fiorano (in Le Marche area) - or Villa Guile in Umbria? Thanx for the time.

Can't help with those specific places, but when are you going? And what town is Fiorano near? We're going to Le Marche in 2nd full week of May. We'll be staying at Le Torricelle, near Urbino and Le Case, near Macerata.

I looked up Le Case before,from this forum, it looks great too. We're going April 21-26th. My Italian teacher suggested the area, supposed to be wonderful, less discovered. (Agrifiorano.it) Fiorano was a site she found and it looked beautiful. It's right at Cossignano, 30 minutes to Ascoli/Piceno. Hope your trip goes well, too!!! Cath-

Cath: I have gotten some AWESOME brochures from the Italian tourism agency in Los Angeles. And I assume you have looked at the wonderful web site www.le-marche.com ? I gather that it will still be rather cool in April--even in May when we are there, it is just the start of spring.

I like the looks of Agrifiorano.it. Are you back from there? What did you think of it? Was it a good base for seeing the southern part of Marche?
