Evening group activities in Edinburgh?
I'm in charge of planning a group evening out at work. I'm looking for something fun for all ages, including a few people who are older and have limited mobility (just nothing too strenuous!). It will be about 20 people... any ideas?
The first thing I thought of were the Ghost Tours, but I'm stumped from there!
Thanks

November is cold...so you'll probably want to stay inside as much as you can. A Ghost tour will be good.
You can see what is showing at the Edinburgh Playhouse, Edinburgh Festival Theatre, Kings Theatre or the Royal Lyceum.
Other ideas are to go to a pub on pub quiz night...always a good time. There are some restaurants that also do a murder mystery theme dinner.

Whisky, surely, rather than wine. Have a look at the Scotch Malt Whisky Society events and see if any of them suit. The atmosphere is just great:-

I know they will also do private tastings for groups.
I was wondering, based on something I was reading elsewhere, if curling was an option? It depends how limited the mobility is, but 80 year olds manage fine.

How about Sandy Bell's Pub for some live folk music? Get there early if you want to sit.
I looked at the Ghost Tours, but unlike the one I took in London, they were either tours where you meet people in costumes, or tours where they believe they actually see ghosts. Neither of which appealed to me.
