Eurostar-1st or 2nd class?

We will be taking the Eurostar from London to Brussels in mid September. Do we need to go 1st class, or is 2nd good enough. In '95 I went from London to Paris in 2nd class, and it was great, but it was brand new and very clean. How about now in '97?

We rode EuroStar last week fromm Brussels to London. Second class was great, clean and $80 less than first class.

Eurostar is pretty comfortable in both classes. And seasonal promotions offer good bargains, either in first or second class.

We just returned from Paris and London where we rode
the Eurostar twice -- both times 2nd class. The trains
were clean and the ride very pleasant. Try to book
your seats in advance as it is very crowded at this time
of year. Enjoy -- especially the 186 miles per hour
part of the trip!

Thanks y'all for your help. We will take your advice, and go 2nd class.
