Euros exchange in CDG

I'm arriving at CDG on USAirways.
Is there an ATM nearby to exchange dollars to euros?

Yes, there are plenty of ATMs at CDG where you can withdraw euros.

I'm a little confused about what you're asking, though. You can't actually exchange money at the ATM, only withdraw it.

If you have dollars that you need to exchange, there are exchange booths at CDG as well.

Thanks. You're right. I just want to withdraw.

Let your bank know that you'll be using your ATM card in Europe. Ask what the withdrawal limit is and how often you can withdraw; you may want the limit increased.

Call your credit card companies and alert them. They'll ask for the dates and where you'll be. Be sure to have the phone numbers of the bank and cc company in case of lost cards.

Two years ago I ordered train tickets online before my trip to Italy. I tried to charge something two days later and the clerk said "There's something wrong with this card. Do you have another one?" I said yes, but there shouldn't be anything wrong with this one so call and let's find out. She called and then put me on the phone and the security person said there had been a charge on my card in Italy two days earlier so they'd put a hold on it. I answered the security questions and the hold was lifted. I don't know if a shop in France would call for you so it's better to do it yourself before you leave.

Have a great trip!

There are a few small exchange bureaus at CDG but they give lousy rates.
