Yes, but thanks for checking. It seems as though the airport taxes can fluctuate daily and my information was that we must go to front of airport, thereby leaving the transit area and reclearing security again. Maybe I'll get a different answer tomorrow. Thanks to all of you.

I just spoke to Europe by Air and they are really not certain if you have to go to the front of the airport to pay the taxes rather than stay in the transit area. If anyone has any prior knowledge of whether or not there is a desk to pay the taxes and get the boarding pass without going back out through security, could you please reply. It's almost over. Yikes.

Since I started this thread, I thought I'd pipe back in. Believe it or not, I have not gone yet but I really would like to know where I need to go in CDG once I get there. I spoke with Europe by Air but they couldn't help me either. I am flying in from IAD and get the impression that I have to clear customs before I go where ever it is to pay the taxes. I have a confirmation that I'm on the flights but I probably won't feel comfortable until I actually board.
On another note, recently I did a search on Orbitz and my exact flights did come up slightly cheaper than Europe by Air. They were much more expensive on the Croatia Air site, however.
If anyone has further insight, please clue us in.

See my earlier post - I went from CDG to Dubrovnik through Europe by Air. I don't remember the actual airport entry door number (it is in my trip report from last year), but I first went to the Lufthansa desk and paid the tax there and then after getting my voucher/receipt, check in was right across from Lufthansa desk. It was very easy. Croatia Air is with Star Alliance.

Taken from my report:
"My flight from CDG to Dubrovnik went very smoothly. I was a little concerned about finding where to pay the taxes for my Europebyair flight, but it was no problem. I did ask at the info desk and she told me it was at the Lufthansa desk. So, you turn right at Entrance #28 and go to the Lufth. sales desk where the "Star Alliance" is located. The tax was 52 E and I paid with credit card. Check in was right opposite the sale desk and it took about 20 min. to check in. My gate was in Satellite 2, Gate 24. Croatia Air was on time, good leg room and had the best inflight magazine of Croatia which went into my carryon. Dubrovnik next .... "
