Additional factoid: Who was the last prisoner held at Spandau? This person was one of the last to be held prisoner at the Tower of London.

Only unanswered question is #4 - these trains are called "Corridor Zugs" because they go thru a coridor of Germany but are Austrian-run trains - at one time they did not serve German towns but now I believe they do.

Kleine Scheidegg is the little dividing corner.
Kleine Schiedegg would mean little sh*t corner.

#4 are not called Zugs but Züge.

wow - did not mean to say that - sources I consulted said Schiedegg meant watershed - Kleine Schiedegg was Little Watershed but assume quokka, a German is spot on right.

In Italy you see pcitures of Padre Pio in many buses, taxis, public transportation as he must be a patron saint of those types or travel?

There are also Padre Pio shrines in the U.S. to this very controversail saint who finally was sainted after years of some unsavory allegations.
