Aha! At long last, I can announce with absolute certainty that there is SOMETHING (finally!) that I do exceedingly well, which is rrrrrroll my rrrrrr's.

Wow, this thread took on new life while I was away. Mulþumesc for everyone's assistance and humor! Everyone's been so nice to be so helpful and I've tried several things suggested, which have actually helped.
I've pretty much managed the r's in the middle of a word. I still have to get a running start at those that start a word - like "aRomun" with the "a" in low tone to get the darn tongue moving. But I've been shortening it a little each time, keeping position like Bjorn said and I think it's working. Sort of like linguistic training wheels.
Bullwinkle. Now that cracked me up. Currrsed moose and squirrrrel.
