The Cantinetta Di Greve is a very good enotecca. Very large , with automated
dispensing machines which enables you to taste possibly 60 or more wines, plus olive oil and desert wines. All for a fee per tasting. In a very relaxed setting where you can take your time and sit at the tables and taste to your heart or budgets content. They have wine from the low end to the high end, all Tuscan.
There are probably 4 other standard type enotecas in Greve where you won't pay for tastings if you end up buying.
Just in Greve you will be able to taste a very large number of wines or have a selection of a thousand labels
or so.
Also one of the best Salumeria in Tuscany, Folorni, is in the main piazza. Loaded with all types of prociutto, salumi & other cured or fresh meats.
The town of Radda less then 1/2 hour away has about 4-5 enotecca, which is a very pretty drive, studded with many of the famous wineries of Chianti. Some of the enoteca have better pricing then the wineries as they have special marketing deals with the wineries.
Can't recall the web URL but the official Chianti Classico web site has a request form that will enable you to receive a map of the wineries in the Chianti zone.

You can go and look at the salumeria in Greve which is fabulous but, don't buy more than you plan to eat while in Italy. You can't bring it back through US Customs. We loved the little town of Greve, especially the bright blue ceramics with lemons.

Try this great little restaurant just outside Greve:
La Castellana
It is in the teeny hillside village of Montefioralle just out of town. We walked there from the agriturismo we were staying at and it was one of our favorite meals. Nice owners, too.
