Hi Shaima,

With the help of Google Translate I enjoyed this article, which would have appeared on April 1st here in England:

My daughter and I just returned from a 10 day trip to the UK. It was a wonderful time. I'm envious of your opportunity.

Regarding Leicester Square Tkts - you can buy tickets one day in advance depending on availability. Last week we bought tickets for Beautiful for the following day's evening performance. 79 pounds for two 8th row center stalls seats. We got to the ticket booth about 20 minutes before 10am and were about 10th in line.Fabulous show.

V&A was astounding - such a huge collection. A perfect example of sometimes more is better. And the fountain pool in the courtyard was quite popular with kids on the super hot day we were there.

The Princess Diana fountain also was hugely popular with kids - again it was a very hot evening and it seemed all of London was in Hyde Park.

The line to the Natural History museum was enormous - we didn't brave it.

Re TKTS -- Getting there before opening is fine -- but it is usually just as good/better to arrive later in the day. Noon-ish the queue can be quite long but later in the day the line tends to be short. And at the end of the day there is often no one in the queue. Yes, one might miss out on some shows, but new seats do get released during the day.

Fridays and Saturdays the lines average longer throughout the day

Unfortunately it doesn't typically work that way. Summer and especially August is the 'down' season for theatre and the arts in general. New theatre productions and museum exhibitions tend to premier in the Fall and after the first of the year. In summer it is mostly tourists attending the theatre, but the rest of the year it is tourists plus everyone else.

Lion King is often offered at TKTS (in fact they are showing tix for tomorrow evening) - but just not discounted. Lion King really doesn't discount because it pretty much sells out every night and has for years.

It may seem expensive - but would be more expensive on Broadway.
