electrical current converter
Do I need an "electrical current converter" in Italy? Or just an adaptar? Anyone have any feedback on charging IPOD's while in Italy? Do I need special adaptar, currency converter for the IPOD? Thanks for your feedback.

It depends on what you want to run. Most of today's electronics are dual voltage (110Volt - 220 Volt). It usually says so on the equipment. If it is for 110Volt only, then you need a transformer. Any travel store will sell them, so does AMAZON. Actually, just to be on the safe side, I awalys take my small transformer along, for night light, etc.
I'm not sure about the IPOD. I usually charge my in any (rental) car or computer. I'm planning to get a house current charger during the week (birthday present). Don't know if it will be dual voltage.
One thing to keep in mind: Because Europe has a different alternating cycle system, all electric motors will run about 15% slower. There's nothing you can do about that.

By the way - you don't need a currency converter, because Steve Jobs has already converted your money into amenities for his Grand Cayman retreat.
