Consider the tethered balloon ride in the parc André Citroën. We tried once, but the ride was cancelled because of stormy weather.

Another vote for walking up. It's a few years since we visited but we arrived about 9am-ish. The queue for the lifts was very very long but there was only one couple in front of us for the stairs. Ditto the next time we visited a few years later. And walking up the stairs is definitely a nicer experience than being squashed in a lift and you get to enjoy the views enroute.
