There are an awful lot of listed buildings in the UK: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Listed_building
The town I grew up in, built shortly after Port Sunlight (i.e. very young by UK standards) and wth very similar architecture, has over a hundred Grade II and II* buildings.
I am not saying that Port Sunlight is not worth seeing, but that it is not somewhere I would suggest for a first time visitor. (The on site museum provides an excellent survey of the history.)
