Ebike tours in Scandinavia

Doing a Viking Homelands cruise and would like to know if anyone has done an ebike tour in Oslo, Aalborg, Copenhagen or other ports. Thanks

I don't need an ebike yet but basic 3 speed gear is enough to get around Copenhagen as it is basically flat. Very safe, some slightly Danish rules for turning left but that's about it

We have ebikes. If you decide to ebike, I suggest you do a rental day or two at home before your trip. Riding an ebike is not entirely like riding a traditional bike, and you'll be in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar rules that could be distracting. If you ride on cobblestones, be extra attentive. FYI, ebikes with "fat" tires are generally easier to ride (and would be safer on cobbles I think), but they can require a bit more pedaling. If helmets aren't provided, I wouldn't ride.

Thanks for the comment. We are familiar with the bikes as we did an ebike tour in Malaga a few years ago. There we got to see things we never would’ve attempted on a regular bike

Helmet thing in Denmark, they understand other cultures and a paid for tour with international riders will provide them, locals probably don't but that is fine. However, I would pay attention during briefing as local rules are very specific and the paths/roads will be very full of other riders who will expect you to behave to local rules.
