easyJet - how reliable its schedule ?
We are planning to take a morning flight on easyJet, and on the same day in the afternoon we are flying back to US. Is esyJet reliable enough to make this kind of arangment, or we need to have the easyJet flight at least 1 day earlier ?

easyJet is very reliable. BUT - anyone who depends on separate tix (whether on a budget carrier or "legacy" airline) to get to their final departure city the same day is risking a lot.
IMO, unless you are flying on one ticket, it is important to be in your departure city the night before.

I fly Easy Jet very often throughout Europe and have never had a bad experience but there is no airline that I would trust for what you are wanting to do. Too many things can happen that are beyond the airline's control. Weather, labor disputes, etc.

Even if the airline had a 99.9999999% reliability record I WOULDN'T rely on it getting me to the airport on time for a 2nd flight unless I was willing to pay the FULL cost of a ticket to my final destination

I have taken EasyJet for about 30 - 40 times. The only one considerable delay (perhaps more than 30 minutes)I can remeber is : Nice - Geneva January 2008, scheduled departure at 21:00 left finally at 23:00. For me it is as reliable as other airline companies but like with any other company, delay happens.
