Eagles Nest Tour---help with bus from Salzburg to Berchtesgaden
I'm hoping someone can assist with locating/interpreting the bus schedule from Salzburg to Berchtesgaden. This will be a very long daytrip from Vienna on August 11th. We plan to take a very early train to Salzburg and then take the bus to Berchtesgaden. Thankfully I read that their tour office is right across the street from the bus station in Berchtesgaden so that's helpful.
The Eagles Nest website ( http://www.eagles-nest-historical-to...ex.php?navid=9) says that buses depart the Salzburg train station almost every hour. I'd really like to know the actual times so we can plan our rail trip to and from Vienna but, I can't find the bus website. Knowing my luck it'll only be in German which is why I can't find it! Of course we'll need to plan the return trip as well after the Eagles Nest tour.
Any help would GREATLY be appreciated!

It's line 840 and the timetable is here:
http://www.rvo-bus.de/site/rvo__bus/...he/fpl/840.pdf
The services TO Berchtesgaden are on page 2.
The first stop "Salzburg Hauptbahnhof" is Salzburg main station. The bus stops are right outside.
The last stop is "Berchtesgaden Hauptbahnhof", the station, where you want to get off.
The services back to Salzburg are on page 1.
The services with a greyish line on top are mondays thru fridays, blue stands for saturdays except public holidays, and pink is for services on sundays and public holidays.
Note that the services in the grey section (mon thru fri) with a tiny black square on top operate only June 27 - Sep 12, which will not matter as you will travel during that period.

Hi latedaytraveler,
Ironic name given your post.
Good point. Well, our tour departs at 1:15p, which is good since we're doing this as a day trip from Vienna. I'm hopeful that we will have good weather.
