May I ask you, Ron, what specific info you're looking for regarding ferries in Greece? Schedulles? Ticket prices? When would you be travelling, before or after the summer season (ends mid-September). As you may know, ferry service thins down mid September and much of the info available now (which in turn may not be reliable) will not apply for the winter season (when many ferries are taken out of service for maintanance). Which islands are we talking about?

I'm asking because the ferry situation in Greece is going through considerable changes. The group that controls Minoan Lines appears to be buying every ferry company in sight ... and they also appear to be understaffed and not being able to update ferry info of the companies they've taken over. I could give you a bunch of URLs but more likely than not many of them would have obsolete info (info valid before takeover).

Paulo
Do you have a firm info that there are none?

The hydrofoil service between Iraklion and Santorini is provided by Dolphin Sea Lines - ex. ILIO Lines (at least it was at the beginning of the summer season). On Thursdays, departure time was at 7:00am, with arrival at 8:40am.

Though info on ferry timetables is a very perishable product and at least the third site below is visibly outdated (it still shows ILIO as the company), this is shown by:

http://www.greecetravel.com/ferryboa...les/index.html

http://www.gtpnet.gr/results.asp?orC...ye=2000&comp=0

http://www.ferries.gr/domstep2.asp?r...=All&B1=Search

To be sure, I would guess the only way would be to call Dolphin Sea Lines at
Tel: +30 1 4224980, Fax: +30 1 4223851

Paulo
