Duoro river Cruise to or from Porto?
We are confused. Have read and would like to do a one day cruise on the Duoro River to or from Porto while in Portugal in September. We are there for the whole month. I have looked at several websites but they are hard to understand or were not in English. Need help with company's that offer this and a website if possible, preferably in English. Not sure if I'm frustrated or stupid

www.douroazul.pt. in the upper right corner you'll,see idiomas(languages) Tap the Portugese flag and you'll also see a British flag for English.
We took their one day cruise to Regua ,I think, and the train back to Porto.
Everything was well done, continental breakfast, served lunch. Few English speaking travelers on board. Recommended.

We have found a website with good translation to English. We also e-mailed them and they sent more info immediately. We wanted to share this info with Fodorites who would also like to cruise up or down the Duoro river.

We took the same trip as HappyTrvlr but I think the return trip - train to Regua and taking the boat back into Porto might have been even better. I think we really would have enjoyed the experience of sailing into, rather than sailing out of, Porto. Having said that, it was a wonderful day and I would highly recommend it.
