Dublin B&B's; Looking for a recommendation

Four of us are traveling to Dublin in August and are looking for B&B recommendations. If you know of any good B&B's or if you know of a good resource on the net for researching them...please respond.

Dave,

Try the Irish Tourist Board web site at www.ireland.travel.ie and also contact them and ask for their free brochures but be warned as August is peak season and it is very hard to get any room B&B or hotel at the weekends in particular, I would advise planning on staying outside the city as it will be easier to get a B&B and using Dublin Bus or Dart into and out of the city - www.cie.ie for links to transport,

Hope this helps

Cathy

I usually try to get into Stauntons on the Green or trinity Lodge. Kilronans is also very good. (They all run about 49 punts pps a night). For cheaper lodging you need to stay a little out of town. Goto www.irelandexpert.com and see her Ireland Guide for other recommendations.

Anglesea Town House is unique. You'll either love it or hate it. I love it.

More conventional and quite good as well - Raglan Lodge.

We stayed just outside Dublin in a small town called Swords...it's about a 40-minute bus ride fom downtown but we didn't mind it at all. It's much cheaper...we paid about 20 Irish punts pps at a nice little place called Riversdale B&B. If you'd like the contact info, just email me.

Enjoy Ireland - it's beautiful!!!
