Dublin B&B Recommendations. Where to stay

We are traveling to Ireland and going to stay in Dublin for a couple of nights. Could you give me a good recommendation for a B&B. We are traveling with a four year old little girl. Thanks Rob

I was wondering ,how is it traveling with a 4 year old little girl as opposed to a 4 year old big girl? I'M sorry I was just musing and feeling funny , have a nice trip.

I was not sure which B & B to recommend because
the places I stayed at were rather low quality
but provided a good breakfast and a place to sleep. There was a simular question in the same
Fodor's WEB and someone recommended Anglesea Townhouse. .. Sometimes I wish I can get away and spend just a few hours in Dublin again. I
expect you will have a great time. Trinity College and at night Temple Bar!!

Hi,
Try the Irish Tourist Board Web page (http://www.ireland.travel.ie/) for information on B&B's.

regards,

Tim.

Can't help you with B and B - we stayed at the International Youth Hostel but this is not appropriate for a child ... just a warning wherever you stay make sure it has good Crime is rampant in Dublin and tourists are a major target. Although our hostel had a secuirty guard, video surveilance and other security measures there were a number of break ins and robberies.

My fiance and I spent 8 days in Ireland this past May and really had a wonderful time. We rented a car and started in Dublin and drove to the west coast - Shannon. If your planning to travel around - don't waste too much time in Dublin - it's just another big "city" - you will truly enjoy getting out to the countryside, seeing castles, and visiting the smaller towns. I would be more to happy to share some of our experiences - where else are you going?
The Irish Tourist Board was a BIG help - TEL: (212-418-0800) They have a soft-cover book that has endless listings of B&Bs throughout Ireland - we used that book whole trip!
