Hi,

New Jersey. More snow is coming down right now! Running out of places to put it! Only good news is it's supposed to get warm for the next few days. Then we can deal with the flooding.

A few things I wanted to comment on:

Vaduz, a novelty and since we have to cross the Alps again.

Neither is a really good reason to drive that far out of your way. Why not head north in Italy and catch a glimpse of the Dolomites off the A22 north of Bolzano?

I feel this May be my last trip...

Again, even more reason to slow down and really experience and appreciate a few places. Quality over quantity.

Paul,
Good news! Warm weather is on the way! It was 44 degrees here and I finally got to wash the car. You should be getting warmer tomorrow! Bad news is, back in the teens next week, and a chance for freezing rain later this week. I feel sorry for you guys out East, you are really getting hit hard this year.

The reason I thought we would return to Munich via Vaduz is because on the way to Venice we will be driving down along A22.
I know we should slow down but it's so hard; so many interesting sites!

It's supposed to be in the mid to high 40's through Sunday! Enjoy your trip planning, March is just around the corner.

Oh, two more things... Love to hear about the trip afterwards and on our first night in Europe so many years ago, we stayed in Triesenberg, Liechtenstein at the Hotel Oberland. When we were there it was the Hotel Martha Buehler. Outstanding views!

Have a look to accomodations in Feldkirch, Austria, just past the border with Liechtenstein. I suspect Austria could be better value for money than Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
