Driving from Florence to Paris (Scenic Route)

Hi ... for my 30th anniversary in late Sept, I am planning on driving from Florence to Paris. I want to make the trip very special and would appreciate any advice on the route; places to visit; things to see; or special places to stay along the way. I realize that this is a big ask, but any info on a place you really enjoyed, or even suggestions for a segment of the drive, would really help... (we love good wine, small quaint villages, old castles/villas, historical sites etc.)

My preference is to travel through Lake COMO and Switzerland (and possibly Germany). We have 2 full weeks, so I want to take a scenic route with relatively short days driving ( 2 - 4 hours). I have also heard that we should see Normandy and that maybe entering northern France (from Germany to Normandy) and then back to Paris would be fun. I have been through southern France but have no knowledge of Northern France, Germany or Switzerland.

Thanks!

Just a practical note that you can use viamichelin.com to plan your route and then download on to a GPS, which by the way, STRONGLY recommend you take one on your trip.
