Driving & Vignette

We will be getting our rental car in Germany and then driving through the following countries : Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland & Czech Republic.

I know some of these require a Vignette, do I need to purchase a separate one for each individual country or do they just have one that covers them all??

Thanks!

I do not recall a vignette for Poland. I think that each country has its own vignette. Make sure that you are allowed to take your car to those countries that used to be behind the Iron Curtain.

Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and Czech Republic each require separate vignettes and can be purchased as you near the borders. Though Hungary and Czech Republic use non-Euro currency, you can purchase the vignettes on the Euro side-bordering country. Plan to have cash for each purchase.
