Dress Code for Provence Resturants

We will be in Provence in 2 weeks. Does my husband need a suit or can he get away with a sports jacket in the nicer resturants.

Thanks
Michele

""Does my husband need a suit or can he get away with a sports jacket in the nicer resturants. ""

No - he won't need a suit, but a jacket is appropriate for the better restaurants here.

PB

No need to wear a suit, just dress nicely - no khakis, shorts, or sneakers.

Is a tie necessary, or is a open neck shirt with a sports jacket o.k.
Thanks to you all!

Michele

This is my advice--

Wear what you feel comfortable in. After all, you are giving the restaurant your money!

Just don't wear nylon jogging suits, please!
