I'm so glad so many have enjoyed this thread! I completely agree, happytraveler. I was miserable on my first trip overseas. I'm used to at least 2 pillows and good ones at that. I learned to travel with cases and stuff clothes in them if needed. I'm just wild about these pillows - and so happy my Christmas shopping is done for many of my hard-to-buy-for folks!

Thank you. This is a brilliant idea, I just ordered one. I am embarrassed to admit that I have actually traveled to Europe with an inexpensive down pillow that I left in my last destination so that I could use that space in my luggage for purchases!!

I just received the 4 I ordered (some for Christmas presents) and am anxious to try mine next month on my trip to Sicily. Just hope I don't forget it on the plane. Too bad we hadn't ordered them in bulk, maybe could have REALLY saved a bundle. Just glad I latched onto this a few weeks ago. Have a good one. Halfpint

The test drive: 2 flights: Boston to Chicago, Chicago to Dallas. Both flights had me in a middle seat. I did not slip a sleeping pill, as they make me groggy for the plane change.
How did it work out?: Awesome! I had it in my purse (which it filled) and when I sat down, it was just me and the pillow. Boston to Chicago I slept the whole way with my head on it. From Chicago to Dallas I had a little more space, so the pillow went under my laptop to make it more comfortable. Again, awesome.
I tested out the cover last night and it is very comfortable (though I still covered it with the "real" pillowcase so that it matched my sheets).

I was in no hurry, so I had it shipped regular ground. It arrived 2 days after I ordered!
Lydia, regarding loft, once opened from travel size, the pillow is actually a down-filled pillowCASE that zips over a regular pillow.
I've had friends suggest that, nice as these are, they would be concerned about leaving them in a hotel or having the maid mistakenly remove the "case" each day. This means taking it off the hotel pillow each morning and stashing it. Not too much to do, in my opinion.
I'm looking forward to using mine (got hubby one, too).

I just put mine on top of the hotel pillow which made it just right. Next time I will put it in a bright colored pillow case of my own so it will be apparant for the maid and myself when I am checking out. It really is such a great idea, too hard hotel pillows make my ears hurt so the down makes it just soft enough.
