Does anyone know of an English-speaking Guide for the Canterbury area?

Going January 1st to Canterbury and would like to hire a knowledgeable guide for 4 people for 2 days to see places of interest outside of Canterbury. Alternatively, for 2 people later in the week. Who would you recommend and what should it cost? And what should we see?

Sorry, can't help. But I have to ask.

What on earth prompted such a bizarre title?

English?

Isn't Cantebury in England?

Is your first language different from English?

Contact the Canterbury Tourist Information Centre - if such services exist they'll tell you. get phone number from web site or any decent guidebook. But don't know if you'll find an English speaking guide as French is the local lingua-franca, at least in summer when the town is overrun by French day trippers. For a neat small town cum castle a few miles out of Canterbury, head to Chilham. Dover is a short train ride away - see the cliffs here and one of Britain's loveliest castles.

OK... re-reading this... BonLou is perhaps looking for a British person well acquainted with the facts and foibles of the area to guide her and some friends around...
Is that it?
