Does anyone have a photo of Harry's Bar in Vencie?
I am compiling a file on Venice - intend to visit in Sept.<BR><BR>I ahve seen photos of Harry's Bar - but only close-up of the windows, door, inside etc., and not the building where the bar is loacted.<BR><BR>Does anyone have a photo of the building that you can share? (or email to me at [email protected]).<BR><BR>Thanks

John, I'll apologize in advance for how this may sound, but all you have to do is open up Yahoo or google and type in Harry's Bar Venice and you'll see many (dozens) of sites that have images of the insode and outside. I was curious, so did a Google search for "harry's bar venice". Got links to several things with interior photos, but nothing of the exterior. Hi Lesli:<BR><BR>Thanks for pointing out that Harry's Bar is in the Hotel Cipriani.<BR><BR>Again there is no building pic. in the web http://www.cipriani.com/cipriani/Locs/ven.htm<BR><BR>But I did a search on Google, and found the Hotel Cipriani website: www.hotelcipriani.it, and found a photo. However the photo shows 2 buildings side by side, and apparently Hotel Cipriani has an annex, which is the Palazzo Vendramin. So I assume the photo is the hotel and the annex, although I don't know which is which, or whether the bar is in the htoel or the annex.<BR><BR>Thanks for the info, about the hotel

Harry's Bar is not in the Cipriani Hotel, though it is one of several places owned by the Cipriani family.<BR>The Cipriani hotel is on Giudecca island.<BR>Harry's Bar is on Calle Valleresso, just a few steps from the San Marco vaporetto stop.<BR>Hope you find your picture.
