LoveItaly, I know exactly what you mean! I would gladly do a full Scottish/whatever breakfast for dinner. Sometimes I crave it. It's not just the food - it is the wonderful memories that flood back with the sight or thought of it.
Thought of yet another one:
Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic. The apartment we stayed at (lovely, personal place) had probably the second biggest breakfast I've had (second to the full Scottish I mentioned above). The breakfast was left in front of our door each morning and WOW! Three big trays each time. Each morning always included a hot entree (i.e. hot cheese/meat sandwiches, French toast, frittata, etc.), plate of various meats and cheesese, fresh breads and croissants and pastries (tons of them), many kinds of juices and fruits, hot chocolate and the usual cereals and toast. It was just non-stop and wonderful! We knew they advertised a breakfast but even I was full after all that substantial and tasty fare.

2 come immediately to mind:
1 - While we had a balcony for our Paris trip last summer, we could never enjoy it without an umbrella until night fall. Every morning, we'd have our breakfast ready in hopes of a rainless day.
Finally, on our last morning in Paris, I looked out, saw no rain, rushed my mom out to our balcony, and finally had breakfast!
2 - The Florence hotel we stayed at had breakfast on the rooftop, which gave you great views of the Duomo and surrounding area. The breakfast was delicious, the atmosphere magical, and the look on my parents' faces was priceless. Alas, my uncle didn't understand the view he was seeing. Oh well.

Great question.
The breakfast at the Grand Hotel Europe in St Petersburg, Russia is the BEST I've ever had.
It was a buffet breakfast that had everything from caviar to champagne, (yes I said champagne), sushi, a cheese tray, cooked eggs, bacon, sausages, cold cuts, fresh fruit, japanese stlye noodles, pickles, smoked fish, fresh breads, tea, coffee, fruit juice, yoghurt, etc.
Also, there was a large selection of items. For example, I remember the cheese tray had about 10 different kinds of cheese; including brie, goats cheese, cheddar, port salute, parmesan, camebert, blue, gorgonzola, etc.
