Just wondering if Fodorites meet all over?? <BR>

Have not noticed a group of Florida meeting, but would hope there are some folks that escape the theme parks to head to Europe.

Hi Diane, there is no Fodors sponsered meetings. Someone in an area muct take the initiative and post a thread to see whos is interested. Once you have several people interested you can create an evite to plan the event. Most groups meet at resturants. I started this last summer for SoCal and have hosted 2 potlucks at my home and now am planning a BBQ for late August for our third. We had 16 at the first and 20 at the second. Diane, <BR> <BR>I am not sure what deems someone to be a Fodorite, but I certainly have recieved some great information/help from this sight. I live in Orlando (yes, theme park world)and I would enjoy meeting up with others in Florida, preferably when it is a bit cooler!

Not an official Fodorites meeting, but I did have lunch with Patrick while I was visiting Florida. Does that count?

I also live in Orlando and would be interested in some Fodorite get-togethers so we can talk about places to go OUTSIDE Orlando!

Suprisingly enough, Orlando does have a historic district in our Downtown. Our home was built in 1924 and I would be happy to host a gathering here in the fall (we have no fall season, but it sounds so nice that I will pretend) or early spring.

Nancy and Celeste, Seems that you should try for an Orlando (west coast) group. I'm on the east coast, Palm Beach/Ft. Lauderdale area. So if anyone is interested contact anyone of us and lets see what we can get started. Let's keep in touch. <BR>Diane
