I am also in the minority.I love the Kodak Advantix switchable fast flash disposable cameras.I stopped taking general pictures, that's what postcards are for and make sure that my fellow travelers or myself are always in the photos. The photos especially the panoramic come out fantastic.I use the fast flash even during the day,it stays on for quite a while. This camera is a little difficult to find but the 4x7 and panoramic are great and usually come w/$4 coupon off fordeveloping.

For the very small cameras ("fit in the shirt pocket") I will add a caution--BE SURE you hold the camera very still. this can be hard for a man with large hands but certainly not impossible--just be aware. The P&S series of cameras I love is Pentax IQZoom. You can get an excellent camera for $150 with many features but not so many that it is baffling. My favorite is the 90. Good lenses on these.
