Difference between Air Canada and Air Transat
Hi there,
My wife and I are flying to Europe in Sept and have the option of flying Air Transat or Air Canada to London. We flew Air Transat last time and found the seats very tight. Can anyone compare Air Canada...is it worth the extra $300?

Air Transat is terrible, as you know, if you don't have empty seats. I did fly it once when I had an empty middle seat next to me, and once when I had a whole row, and those times it was great. (These flights were in September). But I've also flown when it was crowded and full.
I will try Air Canada on a transcontinental flight in July. I think it is supposed to have several inches more of seat pitch. (something like 32" (or possibly 33"
compared to 29".
However, if you paid extra for either seat assignments on Air Transat, or paid extra for Air Transat club class, that might be better than Air Canada.
Look into these sites also for cheap flights overseas:

I think both are supposed to be better than Air Transat.

Air Transat are the worst airline I have ever flown and I swore I would rather SWIM to Europe rather than take them again!
I fly AC all the time and they are substantially better.
Check out SkyService - my family has flown them often and have always had good service. For an extra CAD$150 (?) each way, you can get one of their upgraded seats - very comfortable.
