Hello everyone. I've just booked a honeymoon in Santa Ponsa, self catering. My husband-to-be is allergic to meat and I cannot have dairy. For breakfasts and lunches, we are planning to have picky bits/bread/fruit in. However, we will want to eat out on the evening. Are there places that will cater to our dietary requirements and supermarkets nearby?
Also, how much spending money would you recommend to take? We are looking to do some activities/excursions but not every day.
Thank you!

Allergen laws.

You need to ensure you know what you are allergic to in Spanish. You have to ask when purchasing a meal and have to read the label.
Amount of money is something personal. I will never advise you on the amount of Euros you need for a vacation.
Santa Ponsa is quite large so I cannot say if you will have supermarkets nearby. I also do not not know how near you want them.

I would suggest you search for vegan restaurants. That way you can be certain there will be neither meat or dairy. Try https://veganmallorca.info/vegan-restaurants/ or Trip Advisor.

Depends on where OP is from. If they are from the UK or Europe their bank (debit) card will work just fine for paying for most things. Some cash is always handy however. Remember not everywhere accepts credit cards, but most places will accept a bank card, or cash.Originally Posted by thursdaysd
No, take a credit card with no foreign transaction fees. The debit card is only for use in ATMs.
A US debit card will work too, but offers less protection than a credit card.
