Deportation Museum
Looking to find some information on this museum-as to size etc. I originaly thought that it was near Notra dame & just a ramp going to the water. What else is in this area & what about places to eat?
Do you know if it will be opened on Nov.1 and Saturday or Sunday?

just keep in mind that the Memorial closes for a long lunch break, approx
12-2. http://www.paris.org/Monuments/Martyrs.Deportation/info.html

An article by Rick Steves on Notre Dame and the Deportation Memorial:
http://www.ricksteves.com/plan/countries/paris1.htm

In the area behind Notre Dame toward the river there are many cafes, also between Notre Dame and the Palais de Justice. Some are overpriced because it is a popular tourist area, but you won't starve.

there is also the Memorial of the Unknown Jewish Martyr, 17 rue Geoffroy-lAsnier. This one is more of a Holocaust museum.
www.memorial-cdjc.org is the website. The memorial is open Sun-Fri 10-1 and 2-6.
Metro St Paul or Pont Marie.
