That's what's strange. The Nasties contribute little to the forum except for their many put-down, attacking, negative posts directed at the posters who are have vitality here,
Let's try to change that. No one is an outsider, there are no groups except if you want to call us that that some attack. We were family here, one and all, until a few negative posters wanted several to be banned.

I second Woody's sentiments. Degas has been fantastic. This is the first time I knew of his banning so don't exactly know why - Actually I thought he was travelling at the moment or about to?

Here's another request for the parole board to meet soon. It's like having the family holiday dinners without the eccentric aunts and uncles. We want the cranky aunts and uncles back.

Add my vote, too. I am going to Paris this spring, and have printed his walks. I feel indebted to his innovation and energy for fellow travelers. Bring him back!

I have been planning a trip to Africa - Botswana, it looks so exciting! - so haven't been on the Europe forum lately. But, there was a problem with the word wrap, a title had no spaces so screwed up the width of the left frame. Anyway, at the bottom of the page there is a link to contact the Fodor's people. I did and they fixed that problem, and were very nice about it. Has anyone tried to contact Fodors directly to plead Degas' case? He really did contribute a lot.

Wouldn't it be a lovely thing if some Fodorite would take these walks again, and update/expand them?

Have been thinking and wondering about Degas for some time. He is really missed on the forum.

Maybe I missed something in the past months - does anyone know what happened to him?

Am I wrong? I thought Degas was ill. I didn't know he had been banned.
