Any suggestions for day trips out of Paris?

Yes, we have been to Paris and Versailles before and plan to do the bike tours in both cities. We have also been to Brugges and may plan a return there. We will be in Paris for a week staying in the Trocadero area.

take the train to Vernon and then go to Giverny, it should be beautiful in May. This is probably a 1/2 day trip, go really early (they open around 9) or later in the day (they close around 6) to avoid the crowds.
