StCirq / StuDudley / or anyone else who knows the region well, how crowded is the Dordogne in the 3rd week of June? I hope there are not massive traffic jams at that time. I will be based in Sarlat.

There will be bad traffic on market days in Sarlat (big market Saturday, small market Wednesday), and considerable traffic on market days in all the other main markets, but apart from that, there's nothing that could even be remotely compared to a "massive traffic jam."
