day tours to Eagle's Nest and Koenigssee cruise

Does anyone know of any tour companies that offer a full day or partial day tour that go to both The Eagle's Nest and do a Koenigssee Cruise? I will be in Munich and Salzburg in late September so I could do the tour from either place. I know I could rent a car and go to these places myself but I would rather go with a tour company.

Thanks

we did a day trip to Eagles' Nest from Munich. Think it was a grayline tour direct from our hotel. Adequate; we had gloomy weather and a guide with a definite attitude towards American tourists which came thru loud and clear.

Thanks cmeyer54 for your reply! I have searched and searched and found many places that offer a tour to one or the other but not both. I will only have one day from Munich or Salzburg to do a day tour and would like to see both. Anyone else have suggestions? Thanks

There is still, as far as I know, only one "officially-authorized" tour operator which does a full tour of the Eagle's Nest. We took this one in 2000 and it was simply outstanding.

We did this by rail from Munich and were able to do the Koenigsee boat rid prior to the tour on our own..so did both in one full day.

Link for the tour is here:

Thanks for the reply Intrepid1. I will send them an email and see if it is still possible to do a tour of the lake before or after the Eagles Nest tour. Was your rail from Munich seperate from the cost of the tour?
Thanks again!
