Dario does San Francisco!

For all you Dario aficionados in and around San Francisco, Dario, author of Confessions of a Chianti Tour Guide, will "share stores of his more remarkable customers, from the obsessive to the oblivious," according to the SJMN. Thursday March 17 at 7 pm at Get Lost Travel, 1825 Market St. SF (415) 437-0529. Free.

I'm curious... his book has been out for two years, is he just now promoting it in the US, or does he have a new one that I somehow missed?? The website for his book tour makes it seem like the same Too Much Tuscan Sun... but I feel like I'm missing something.

He's not coming anywhere near Rochester NY (well, we were emailing about tour dates and he told me some NY dates would still be added, but I'm guessing NYC)

It is the same book---I really love that title--just cleaned up and being promoted now. Dario is tired of " diet coke swilling Barbies".

What does he prefer that his Barbies swill?

Why Ira, of course he hopes they swill Chianti from the Black Rooster region!

When I emailed him about a tour for next Setempber, I told him I hoped we would be good traveling companions, and not be neurotic enough to make his next book
