Alas, no Sighisoara. I really could have used the whole 17 days in Romania! I realize that most people would have gone to Sighisoara rather than Timisoara, but I had a quest to see Bigar. (It's one of the things the kids who chose my trip were kinda hyped about.)

I'll have to try the bee pollen sometime! There's a farmers' market I go to that should have it, I think. But probably a lot more expensive than it would have been in Romania!

We did a private food tour with Jan last summer and were enchanted by the food and drink and by his stories about growing up in Commnist Prague. I’m glad to hear that he is still charming visitors to his lovely city!
