Cycling around lake Annecy

Going with a 10 years kid.
looking for a flat, east, no cars (can be small villages) and more scenic views:

Annecy-Duignt-Annecy OR take transport to Talloires and ride from there 12km to the south of lake (clockwise) and back

There is a bike path all the way round pretty much. One hill to climb if you go anti-clockwise.
I'd do the transport out ride back option I think, but it depends somewhat on how good a cyclist your child is, how far they can normally cycle. There are plenty of places to stop for a breather if needed.
What you do not want to do is set off anti-clockwise to Duingt and then decide to go all the way round because of that hill.
Don't forget your ten year old will need a cycle helmet, by law, so if you have one already take that with you.
