Hi elearit,
Remind the boys that Mona Lisa (La Joconda) is very small and roped off, so that they won't be too disappointed.
The gargoyles at Notre Dame will appeal to them.
The Luxembourg Gardens are a good place to let off steam and has an art gallery in the Palais.
The Pere Lachaise cemetery has some interesting statuary as well as tombs of famous people, and is another good place to let off steam.
They might like Napoleon's Tomb.
The Musee' Cluny has the ancient Roman Baths.
You get a good view of Paris from the roof of the La Samaritaine department store, which also has a cafeteria. They can also look at clothes if they are interested.
They might find a ride on the Batobus fun. www.batobus.com
Have a nice trip.

Near Samaritaine (Chatelet/Pont Neuf metro stops) is an artists' collective called Electrons Libres.
This is actually a squat, where dozens of artists decided to occupy an amazing building right on the rue de Rivoli. It's free, and open daily 2-7.30pm.
Check pictures at
http://www.capcite.com/shtml/article...icle-524.shtml
You will have instant cool cred with da boyz (guaranteed) and probably expand their horizons more here, than at a more formal museum. (Hit the 3rd floor for their 'museum.'')
As the site says,
<<n'hésitez pas à demander aux artistes des explications sur les oeuvres, ils se feront un plaisir d'éclairer vos interrogations !>>
Don't hesitate to ask the artists to explain their works - it's their pleasure to clarify your questions!
Also, if you're Paris-bound before the end of Feb, the Hotel de Ville ice rink fully rocks.
HTH!
